Job Summary

The primary objective of the pricing team members is to maintain and improve Pentagon market share for new and existing business within the GCC. You will be single point of contact for pricing related services to external and internal customers.

Job Description

• Effectively manage high volume of air freight and sea freight enquires. Breakbulk pricing and procurement experience is an advantage.
• Ensures the quality of the quotes and proposals are maintained as per the set standards and follow-up on quotes to ensure conversion target is met as given by department.
• Experience with procurement from airline and shipping line for both OOG/BB and general cargo is preferred.
• Take complete ownership of procurement of competitive rates from origin/destination and ensure maximum conversion of quotations.
• Create Pricing Solutions for new business opportunities, utilizing financial models and optimization tools.
• Analyze customer data to develop understanding of their shipment profile and service requirements.
• Develop efficient distribution solutions considering carrier partner network capabilities.
• Maintain customer and vendor pricing information.
• Assist with research and analysis of data in support of client and management requirements.
• Perform other office related duties as and when required within the pricing, operations departments with guidance and support should it be required.

Pricing executive is expected to have the below KPI:
1. Quote conversion ratio – Through solution and follow-up with customer
2.Quote Turnaround Time – As per company standards.
3.Customer retention and business growth.

What we’re Looking for:

• Minimum 5+ years GCC logistic pricing experience with operational and/or commercial mindset
• Exposure to break bulk, air and sea freight pricing and rate procurement.
• Sound understanding of carrier and airline service mapping and regions.
• Possess sound organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work within fast paced and assertive team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: AED10,000.00 – AED12,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Jebel Ali Freezone: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• GCC logistic pricing operational and/or commercial mindset: 5 years (Required)
