Pathway Group Hiring for Contracting Head Job at Dubai Full Time

Job Description
1. Negotiating and contracting of rates, special offers, allocation, release
periods, overrides, terms conditions for hotels, self-catering or serviced
apartments ensuring the best available rates and availability.
2. Visiting and inspecting hotels on a regular basis to ensure good standards;
3. Meeting with hoteliers and representing the company;
4. Ensuring that all contracts are received to deadline, and that contract
conditions are met;
5. Dealing with disputes regarding rates, allotment, etc;
6. Analyzing the product of our different competitors to ensure our best
rates for the multiple source markets
7. Analyzing weekly product/sales reports to identify market trends and
revenue/room night’s sales growth opportunities
8. Analyzing opportunities for opening of new destinations.
9. Coordinating with the team for loading, positioning of the contracts.
10.Understanding of various means of hotel distribution including channel
managers, dynamic connectivity, extranet etc.
11.Periodic presentations on analysis, future plans and tactics will be
required;
12.Creating and maintaining calendars for key events;
13.Liaising with other members of staff to ensure the best possible use of
contracted hotels.
14.Supervising a team of operations staff in maintaining day-to-day operations;
15.Increasing profitability for the company;
16.Liaison with clients and giving excellent customer service;
17.Dealing with every day’s problems and issues that might encounter staff;
18.Guiding staff to achieve goals of the company.
Requirement:

• Minimum 5 years of experience dealing with Global Travel/Destination

Management Companies/hotel contracting

• Has strong relationship with popular hotels and international hotel

chains

• Can confidently build strong relationships with key accounts
• Can efficiently manage a small but focused global contracting team.
• Excellent Communication and negotiation skills.
• Degree Educated
• UAE driving license

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: AED8,000.00 – AED10,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:

• UAE Driving License (Required)
