Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Structural Inspector – Asset Management to join our team! In this role you will get to performs continuous surveillance of assigned inspection activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications.

• Demolition of transportation facilities (roads, streets, bridges etc.).

• Maintenance of road bridges, and other associated improvements (curb and gutter, street, sidewalk, landscaping).

• Drainage work, traffic control, compliance with SWPPP requirements.

• Installation of electrical equipment related to traffic signals, ramp metering and street lighting.

• Irrigation and planting, roadway and overhead sign removal and installation.

• Installation on temporary and permanent signs and delineation.

• Installation of mechanical equipment.

• Building and facility construction and associated site development.

• Taking project photographs on a daily basis and filing them.

• Inspects site conditions to ensure suitability for the designed permanent works.

• Give practical advise on constructional matters.

• Maintain records of inspections, work executed, etc.

• Assist in or measure work done when required.

• Observe site safety procedures.

• Assist in preparation of “as-built” drawings.

• Assist with inspection of completed works, prepare sang lists and handover to operating authority.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• Degree in Civil, or Structural Engineering with minimum 5 years related asset maintenance supervision experience on road bridges and utilities projects.

• Or, Diploma in Civil, or Structural Engineering with minimum 7 years related asset maintenance experience on road bridges and utilities.

• Preferably with related work experience in Dubai, UAE, or GCC in an engineering consulting firm.

• Knowledge and experience using computer software.

• Good oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to communicate logically and clearly with management and staff.

• Commitment to safe work practices.
