Job Description:

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage relationship with stakeholders and liaise with all relevant Agencies / Authorities and Client team to obtain necessary approvals, NOCs and completion certificate.

• Lead and manage handing over procedure of buildings to Dubai local authorities until the issuance of necessary completion certificates from Dubai Civil Defense, DEWA, Etisalat / Du, RTA, Dubai Municipality, etc.

• Ensure the completion of testing and commissioning for all utilities’ building systems.

• Attend kick-off and co-ordination meetings and provide support to the project team during NOC and testing and commissioning process related to utilities’ buildings

• Monitor project schedules regularly to determine any delays or deviations, related to NOC progress

• Track project progress and ensure all project activities are completed on-time, in terms of NOC process

• Lead the project team (consultants and contractors) in while obtaining the authorities’ approvals

• Coordination with the Client and liaise with all government offices and service authorities in UAE, particularly in Dubai, for all technical queries and issues related to the issuance of the NOC and building completion certificates for utilities’ buildings

• Track utilities NOCs, commissioning progress and handing over to various authorities. Ensure the completion of these pre-requisite tasks as per approved schedule.

• Coordinate with the project team, consultants, and contractors to prepare the commissioning schedule related to utilities’ buildings during early stage of the project. Monitor project schedules regularly to determine any delays or deviations.

• Participate in project various meetings during design and construction stage and provide necessary recommend for improvement.

• Coordinate and collect information from relevant Agencies, third party consultants and contractors for all technical queries and issues, to prepare weekly and monthly reports for management and clients

• Attend project meetings and follow-up with outstanding tasks

• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction related field

• Minimum 15 years of experience. At least 7 years in a stakeholder/commissioning/handing over position

• Proven experience in dealing and liaising with government authorities in Dubai

• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English, Arabic would be an advantage

• Must have UAE driving license
