You will be primarily responsible for all GL-owned activities related to all Middle east legal entities in UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Partner with the best
- Ability to provide financial control over nominated entities ensuring that operationally adequate systems of internal control and suitable monitoring procedures are in place. Proactively contribute to process changes to strengthen control environment and process efficiency.
- Ability to prioritise, must be able to handle multiple demands and leverage available resources .
- Processing essential month end tasks including revaluation, GIT and journals, entry performed with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines; deliver against all corporate reporting deadlines, display an appropriate sense of urgency and approach to escalation.
- Perform all duties compliant to Statutory, SOX, Company policies and code of conduct.
- Responsible, in tandem with entity finance management, for the on-time and accurate production of monthly accounts as per corporate schedules for nominated entities.
- Responsible for the maintenance of documentation required by both internal and external auditors.
- Liaison with the internal and external auditors as needed during audits.
- To work towards the 100% attainment of all Country related KPIs
Manual General Ledger Tasks:
Preparation of financial statements per IFRS and US GAAP.
Calculate and book monthly accruals and amortizations.
Review and record Monthly payroll, gratuity, bonus and other journals.
Calculate and verify channel partners commission for accounting accruals.
Prepare reconciliations in Blackline tool.
Control, input/correction of cost centers where reqd.
Liaising with CFS treasury team to ensure all the payments and receipts have been accounted for and allocated appropriately.
Interco:
Raising monthly intercompany invoices for recharges.
Monthly Close Process:
- Timely load of Trial Balance and reporting pack submission through Onestream ensuring reconciliation into SAP every month.
- Any additional memorandum Onestream schedules as required by Corporate including order and backlog data.
- Continuous coordination with CFS related to Inter – co, Treasury and GL activity.
Quarterly / Annually tasks:
- Assist with VAT return preparation for all Middle East entities.
- Co-ordination with all statutory, audit/ tax, and third-party partners, as needed.
Day to day:
- Help with developing more efficient processes, maintaining a high level of accuracy and with a focus on pro-active business control.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Degree Educated (Finance or Accounting)
- Min 3 Years of experience
- Strong accounting ability; financial reporting
- Experience in shared services environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills and systems knowledge covering SAP and Onestream.
