The job responsibilities are listed as below:Responsibilities:Receiving Work RequestsSchedule start and end dates in coordination with Engineering Support Group.Manage time and resources for priority jobs without delaying planned projects.Identifying Project Service RequestPlanned projects: Allocated funds during the year.Unplanned projects:No allocated funds.Requested as a priority from Upper Management without prior planning.Examples: Executive Houses, quick responses.Consult with Work Control.Listing Proponent Requirements: Understand the Proponent’s Requirements – Functions, activities, preferences, budget, timeline, priorities.Studying ExistingRequest security approvals: Fill up a form prior to visiting the facility and taking pictures.Concept Design: Develop concept design – Free hand, 2D, or 3D CADD presentations, including main ideas.Budgetary Estimate: Study budgetary estimates that fit the proponent’s requirements.Concept PresentationsPrepare presentations: Hardcopies on boards or digital presentations on PowerPoint.Give verbal presentations.Document minutes of meeting.Develop design options and estimates.Work closely with assigned Architect: At the Engineering Group or with the Interior Design in-house Architect.Coordinate with engineering disciplines: Mechanical, electrical, communication.Ensure completion of tasks and implementation of comments.Review Construction Drawings and Scope of Work.Materials’ SpecificationSelect and specify interior and exterior finishes and lighting fixtures.Include selection and specification of furniture, accessories, and signage.Construction SupportDiscuss contractors’ queries and concerns before job bid.Approve all submittals by the contractor.Provide construction support, including site supervision.Resolve design issues by providing detailed drawings.Requirements:This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.15 years’ design experience in an architectural officeArchitectural Registration in the US or UKMember of the AIA (American Institute of Architects) or RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects)Excellent command of the English language
