One World Rental – Global Technology Hire Hiring for IT Technician Job at Dubai Full Time

One World Rental is looking for an experienced IT Technician to join a busy and proactive technology company with a view to grow and develop into an IT Manager role. The position is on a full time and permanent basis, based at our Al Quoz offices in Dubai.

Occasional travel to other GCC countries and across UAE is required.

Your duties will include:

• Prepare, deploy and support IT systems in the assigned events, including end-user desktops/laptops, computing servers, network equipment, voice and video hardware and mobile devices, tablets, printers and WiFi solutions.
• Execute software installation across many different client solutions as part of full 360 technical solutions delivery.
• Maintain condition of hardware IT equipment. Be able to service hardware and do basic upgrades and repairs of laptops and devices.
• Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve
• Have good knowledge and experience with Windows imaging, Apple Configuration, apple VPP, and MDM solutions.
• Have good knowledge and hands on experience on networking, patching, infrastructure set up and maintenance using 4G and hardline data line. Successful track record of provisioning and supporting access points and switches essential.
• Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
• Promote health and safety and ensure adherence to health and safety policies and procedures.
• Prepare IT equipment in large quantities using efficient and correct methods consistently without errors.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
• Several Event Staff Assignments, providing event technology support on site.
• Travel domestically and international to support event Technology.
• Support clients and project stakeholders.
• Analyze risks and opportunities

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Have technical know-how and experience to meet above needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with excellent English speaking and writing skills
• At least 1-year experience in Dubai.
• At least 3 years work experience in IT Field, Event technology or as Technician.
• Excels working individually and as part of the team supporting others
• UAE Driving license essential. Full clean driving license
• Exceptional attention to detail, using initiative to troubleshoot complex issues and recognize when escalation is required.
• Ability to plan and schedule workload
• Successful candidates will be required to pass a vetting process
