Okadoc Hiring for Dynamic Head of Finance Job at Dubai Full Time

Okadoc is looking for a dynamic Head of Finance to join our global community. We are the GCC’s first one-stop-shop patient engagement platform, seamlessly connecting doctors and patients. From our instant, fully integrative online appointment booking platform to an array of home healthcare solutions, Okadoc aims to improve the healthcare experience for all.

As an established Senior Finance Manager or Head of Finance, you should be a proactive self-starter who can supervise all the day-to-day financial accounting activities at Okadoc. To be successful in this role, you should have experience in start-ups within the region, crafting financial strategies and managing teams working across different locations.

Ultimately, you will maintain our company’s financial health and drive increased profitability. We are looking for a future-focused, confident individual with exceptional analytical abilities whose excellent interpersonal skills can aid Okadoc in achieving our rapid growth business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Full accountability of the accounting procedures with proper implementation across the organisation.
• Forecast monthly, quarterly and annual results and assist in delivering critical reports and financial presentations, including the monthly business reviews to the board and senior leadership team.
• Suggest and implement cost control measures across the business.
• Manage the outstanding payables/receivables.
• Manage the budget and periodic monitoring of sales, cost of sales and expenses incurred.
• Control and monitor disbursements to ensure they conform with policy.
• Build solid relationships with the broader organisation and become a pivotal stakeholder to crucial leadership team members.
• Review, investigate and recommend cost-reducing solutions e.g. improvements to current systems, procedures and processes.
• Provide advice for any upgrades of existing systems or implementations of new strategies for long-term success.
• Development, feedback and coaching focus on direct reports in the finance team.
• Lead on statutory audit consisting of smooth conduct of the year-end audit and handling all audit queries.
• Manage the Financial Statement preparation and consolidation in compliance with local laws.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Senior Finance Manager, Head of Finance or similar role
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance related discipline
• Chartered Accountant qualification (CA, ACCA, ACA)
• Minimum of 5-7 years post qualified Finance Management experience
• Experience within a regional startup
