A “Solar Company” in UAE is urgently looking for a “Manager – Business Development” for its office in Dubai.

Position Summary:
Develop business in UAE and Gulf region including but not limited to the existing business of the Company and or the current business segments. The incumbent should have the ability to develop business in the MENA territory within a certain timeline but not only related to existing business of the Company.

Position Responsibilities:

Pre-Business:
– Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of company’s growth objectives keeping in your view new market characteristics & dynamics.
– Compile lists describing company’s product & service offerings feasible in the new market.
– Initiate market research studies and analyze market demand of company existing product & services and share findings with the Management.
– Conduct economic or commercial surveys to identify potential markets for products or services.
– Recommend modifications to products & services, processes and other characteristics to improve sustainability of products & services.
– Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, or return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.

Post Business
– Select products and accessories to be displayed at trade shows.
– Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities as well as policies to promote products & services viable in the region.
– Develop pricing strategies, balancing company’s objectives and market needs.
– Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale of products & services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.
– Coordinate and participate in promotional activities and trade shows to market products or services.
– Negotiate contracts with vendors and consultants to manage product distribution, establishing distribution networks and developing distribution strategies.
– Coordinates with CEO on complex work tasks and ensures compliance with plans, codes, standards, regulations and operating instructions needed in the region.
– Execute online and offline marketing initiatives, integrating online and new media, email, print, direct mail, social media, brand awareness and drip marketing initiatives.

Requirements:
– Bachelors in Engineering
– 8-10 years of relevant experience in the Solar industry
– Sales & Marketing Skills
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Focused and goal-oriented
– UAE Experience is must

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED12,000.00 – AED15,000.00 per month
