Job Summary.

Project Sales is a global team that supports the regional sales teams on newbuild and major upgrade projects. This team works with Drilling Contractors and Operators to develop solutions to make their existing rigs more marketable or to develop newbuild rigs and support the global NOV sales organization where opportunities are discovered.

Project Sales is also currently involved in many of NOV’s ECOS (Energy Carbon Optimization Solutions)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

General Tasks:

• Work with global customers to develop concepts and solutions to meet their needs
• Support NOV’s global sales team on newbuild and major upgrade projects
• Integrate new and developing technologies on projects
• Inform NOV organization on need for new technologies to meet customer’s needs
• Help set global sales strategies on major projects

BEHAVIORAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

Looking for a driven, market-oriented candidate with excellent work ethics, communication, and negotiation skills. The candidate needs to be a self-motivated driver for success and use a combination of creativity, product knowledge and experience to sell major projects

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:

Essential:

• Bachelors in engineering and/or business/ Masters in engineering or business – preffered.
• 10+ years of experience in major project/equipment sales
• Experience from engineering or project/technical project/execution is preferred
• High technical knowledge in the land drilling segment is preferred
• MS Project, AutoCAD
