About your school

NAS Dubai is a purpose built ‘flagship school’ generously resourced with an enrolment of over 2300.Our curriculum is based upon the legacy of the English National Curriculum adapted to the local environment leading up to GCSE and on to the IB Diploma programme, and A Levels introduced last year. Our GCSE 2022 results significantly surpasses the world average, with 71% of students achieving A**-A, 9-7 (World Average 27.6%). IB results are equally as impressive with 40% over 40 points and perfect scores of 45 every year.

About the role

As a key member of the School Leadership Team, you will offer leadership, inspiration and guidance to the staff and students of the Primary School such that all students achieve exceptional outcomes: academic, personal, and social. Focused on developing a high performing team, you along with the support of the Primary Leadership Team, will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the phase, including staff development, performance management and strategic planning.

About you

With the ability to drive excellence by valuing and developing others, you will be a qualified teacher with extensive experience of both hands-on teaching and management in education. This means you will be fully up to date with curriculum developments. Strong on leadership and people management, you will have a flair for setting and meeting challenging performance targets.

Able to work with a high degree of cultural sensitivity in our changing and fast-paced international environment, you will have the ability to use a range of communication strategies and channels. Your strong commercial, financial, market and organisational awareness will enable you to devise effective solutions to complex business challenges.

A strong ambassador for the school, you will be able to develop new ways to engage students and parents with the wider school and Nord Anglia Education community. You will also be able to meet visa-related restrictions for UAE.

Selection process

The closing date for application is 6th January 2023. There will be three stages of interview, including a panel interview.
