Design & Engineering

• Coordination of design & engineering activities of complex and challenging local and or international event technology projects from concept design to detailed engineering phase.

• Lead and coordinate a team of trade specialist planners and engineers.
• Develop system designs based on clients’ requirements and coordinate the same with all relevant stakeholders
• Create design concepts, 2D/3D drawings, block diagrams and other design & engineering deliverables as per project requirements with the assistance of the Project Planner
• Coordinate the trade requirements with other specialist trades, the project manager, and all other relevant internal stakeholders.
• Ensure system designs are aligned to budgetary and timeline constraints
• Develop and propose value- engineering options if required
• Manage the quality of all trade related design & engineering activities.

Asset & Inventory Strategy & Management

• Develop an asset and inventory strategy based on the business plan.
• Support the Equipment and Procurement Unit in identifying potential suppliers and partners, developing relationships and agreements with the same and monitoring their performance.
• Monitor and control the asset and inventory utilization; refine the strategy and stock levels based on the findings.
• Ensure sufficient and timely asset and inventory maintenance, service, updates and upgrades together with the Head of Equipment and other relevant stakeholders.
• Develop maintenance, service, updates and upgrades routines for your trade’s equipment in collaboration with other relevant stakeholders.

Human Resource Strategy & Management

• Overseeing the skills and qualifications of audio technical planners, technicians, engineers, and operators in coordination with the Crew Unit.
• Develop and implement training plans for trade specialists together with the Crew and Human Resource Unit.
• Ensure all projects are resourced with sufficiently qualified, skilled and experienced teams.
• Support the Crew Unit in identifying and managing potential freelancers and crewing suppliers.
• Drive the performance management of internal and external staff together with the Crew and Human Resource Unit.

Management Responsibilities

• Experience as a Senior Audio Engineer in live events production
• Experience with Sound Equipments
• strong ability to learn and troubleshoot problems.
• Should have been doing streaming events in the past and a few huge gigs in arenas, corporate events.
