• Researching, screening, and coordinating with suppliers
• Liaise and develop relations within the supply chain
• Preparing requests for information and requests for proposal
• Negotiating costs and delivery terms with suppliers
• Review, evaluate and pre- approve technical and commercial proposal
• Raise purchase and variation orders
• Review and pre- approve supplier payment certificates and invoices
• Ensure cost effective, timely and low risk procurement
• Manages supplies of consumables, materials, uniforms and other needs, keeps track of inventory, raises purchase requisitions and follows up on deliveries
• Coordination with project teams to ensure a project’s supply needs are met
• Constant market screening and forecasting changes to assist in budgeting and cost savings
• Cross-functional communication and alignment towards suppliers and to contribute to development of commodity procurement strategies

• Work experience as a Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Officer or similar role
• Must have experience in Audio-Visual Industry
• Knowledge of procurement processes, policies and procedures.
• Strong emphasis on accuracy and detail.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet goals and deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, such as Excel.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
