As new Director of Business Unit you will be fully responsible to manage, lead and further develop the business unit. You will propose and decide together with the General Management on business plans and strategies to achieve the business unit objectives. You will recognize market opportunities and changes, intelligently network different areas, and continuously drive innovation.
You will lead with a transparent (i.e. communication-intensive) and collaborative management style, that heavily relies on knowledge, expertise and problem-solving skills of the teams.

Tasks:

• Lead, decide and take responsibility for the business unit
• Develop, propose and execute business unit plans and strategies
• Control business plans and strategies execution as well as key performance indicators
• Accountable to achieve the qualitative and quantitative business unit objectives
• Driving business development and sales activities
• Responsible spokesman to the General Management
• Responsible to ensure that all processes run flawlessly and that the day-to-day business works efficient and smooth
• Driving change, developing new ideas, creating future vision
• Administrative line manager for business unit team
• Management / decision-making / responsibility for the economic and operational results of the business unit
• Development / design of the business unit
• Budget planning for the business unit in cooperation with business unit team and General Management
• Financial responsibility for the business unit
• Knowledge of the legal and regulatory requirements and frameworks
• Responsibility for team members in the business unit
• Leading team, process, and procedure improvement initiatives
• Resource planning
• Definition and monitoring of team objectives in collaboration with the team
• Team motivation and mentoring
• Communication about developments, decisions, changes in the business unit to team
• Creation and review of various analyzes and statistics
• Quality management
• Develop and coordinate strategies to acquire new business and grow the market share
• Act as key account for existing and new clients
• Promote cross-selling between N&M business units
• Develop and coordinate marketing plans and strategies together with the marketing teams
