Network Engineer Full Time

Job Summary

The Network Engineer is responsible for ensuring the IT Infrastructure services are delivered effectively to all departments of the resort and external clients. This will involve providing direct support to the IT network infrastructure team in the support of hotel business operations & activities.
Another key aspect of this role will be to coach, mentor, motivate and supervise IT team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
About you
The ideal Network Engineer candidate must have previous hands-on experience working as a network technician who relishes a challenge and enjoys problem solving in a complex environment, have at least 5 years operational experience implementing, monitoring, and managing large scale network infrastructure, and have demonstrable practical experience in executing network related projects. You will also be able to prioritise workloads and be a strong team player who enjoys working within a dynamic team and have the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
You will be able to manage tasks without supervision and have sound working knowledge on WiFi and troubleshooting WiFi connectivity issues, as well as possessing the ability to interact with technical and nontechnical audiences including internal and external customers, and stakeholders at executive level. It is also essential that you can perform system maintenance tasks, including software updates, backups, and security patches.
The successful candidate will also have experience of large-scale enterprise campus LAN deployments and be experience with palo alto and check point firewall administration. You will have strong EQ as we are looking to for a network expert who can support operations day to day.
Technical Qualifications

Cisco Certified CCNP
Avaya Call Manager and Contact Centre Certified (an advantage).
Palo Alto and Checkpoint Firewalls Certified
AWS, CISSP and related certifications are a plus
