RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Devise technical training programs according to organizational requirements that will fulfill the customer’s needs.
• Determine training contents according to objectives.
• Prepare training material (presentations, worksheets etc.).
• Execute on-site support and in-class training sessions, webinars, workshops etc. in groups or individually..
• Keep and report data on completed courses, absences, issues etc.
• Observe and evaluate results of training programs.
• Determine the overall effectiveness of programs and make improvements.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Proven experience as technical instructor.
• Solid knowledge of Drilling Industry.
• Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects.
• Experience in designing technical course content.
• Ability to address training needs with complete courses.
• Working knowledge in MS Office.
• Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowds.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Degree in a relevant technical field.
• Drilling Industry training (i.e. Well Control, Drilling Technology, IADC, etc.)

Essential:

• Degree in Drilling or Petroleum Industry with minimum 3 years experience as a Driller.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Drilling Industry training (i.e. Well Control, Drilling Technology, IADC, etc.)
• Knowledge of various training and teaching methods.
• Knowledge of MS Office.
• Presentation and Communication Skills.
• Computer Skills.
• Write, Read, and Speak of English Language.

Desirable:

• Trilingual is preferred (English, Arabic, Hindi).
• Good Time Management Skills.
• Knowledge of NOV Drilling Operating Controls Systems.
