Our client is a trading company of crude oil, based in Dubai and is looking to hire an Accountant who can join their team immediately.
The Accountant role will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related education; preferably a Master’s degree.
- 5 years of proven experience in accounting out of which 2 years in the UAE.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks, Tally ERP, etc.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Well organized in maintaining data and files.
- Attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting Finance Manager in preparing invoices, contracts, budget, reports, etc
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Maintaining accurate financial records
Work Location: JLT, Dubai, UAE
Work Schedule: 9AM to 6PM
