Job description

We are looking for a field service engineer at our location in Dubai.

Skills:

• 1. Carrying out Overhauling of REINTJES Gearboxes at customer locations/ Company’s Workshop as required.
• 2. Perform Inspection and troubleshooting activities at site locations to diagnose problems, determine an appropriate resolution, and implements corrective action.
• 3. Submission of technical reports in accordance with Company’s guidelines and Standards.
• 4. Perform installation, Pre-commissioning, commissioning, troubleshooting, and overhauling activities at customer site locations.
• 5. Under the direction of the Service Manager, perform a wide range of engineering tasks to ensure the technical integrity and proper installation and commissioning of the Company’s gearboxes, their controls, and propulsion system.
• 6. Provide training and instruction to customers on system operations.
• 7. Promote service & spare parts sales for the product.
• 8. Perform other related engineering tasks to facilitate proper gearbox work until complete customer satisfaction.
• 9. Ensure appropriate response and service are provided to customers.

Qualification:

• 1. Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited university or college.
• 2. Minimum 4-5 years of field service and commissioning experience.
• 3. In total, experience at least 3 -5 years of experience in Maintenance / Overhauling of engine/gearboxes. Gearbox experience would be preferred.
• 4. Basic Understanding of Ship’s Propulsion controls and their functioning. Troubleshooting skills in Electrical Systems, Hydraulic systems, and their components is an added advantage.
• 5. Basic knowledge of ISO (Quality) & OHSAS (Health & Safety) practices in the marine industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: AED8,000.00 per month
