One of our well know well established high profile client in hospitality sector is looking for an experienced Head Chef for its hotel in Hargeisa-Somalia.

Position: Head Chef

Location: Hargeisa-Somalia

Reports to: Restaurant Manager

Package: $2,000 to $2,500 : Accommodation, Yearly Return Ticket, Meals During working shifts

Prior Experience: Minimum 10 years

Educational Qualification: Degree in Culinary

Languages Known: English, Arabic, Somali

Job Description:

As a Head Chef you are responsible for ensuring that the standard and quality of the food production and the hygiene within the department is maintained at the highest level at all times. This role is very much hands-on, requiring attention to detail and a positive work attitude.

Main Tasks:

1. Supervise the preparation of all food

2. Oversee and supervise all kitchen staff

3. Manage kitchen stocks

4. Ensure catering staff are working safely at all times

5. Assist the Restaurant Manager as required

6.Carry out other tasks as required by the Restaurant Manager

7.Pay careful attention to the operating budgets of the department to ensure that costs are controlled to maintain the correct levels of spending

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED7,345.00 – AED9,182.00 per month
