Nadia Global Hiring for Business Development Manager – Lighting Job at Dubai Full Time

Our Client is a manufacturing company (with a headcount of 2000 all across the globe). Have showrooms and Head office in Dubai in several lines of business.

They are planning to launch their lighting brand and products full-fledged with a dedicated BDM with experience in Project Sales, retail and appointing Distributors in UAE.

Position Purpose:

• To develop the Company Lighting portfolio in the entire Middle East market.
• To develop Company Lighting vertical across all projects, institutions and retail segment.
• To deliver Middle East business plan as per HO guidelines.
• To build the entire value proportion of Company Lighting across internal and external customers.
• To impart product training to internal and partner teams.
• To promote, establish and highlight the concepts & products being offered by Company Lighting.
• To be the Brand Ambassador of Company Lighting in assigned market.
• To ṃeet Architects, Interior Designers, Consultants, Contractors and direct Customers to endorse & patronize Company Lighting in their projects.
• To generate inquiries and sales lead for Company Lighting from project contractors and influencers.
• Proactively do the needful to invite the Architects, Builders, Designers, Customers to visit Company World and Company India.

JOB PROFILE:

• To promote entire range of Commercial Indoor-Outdoor and Decorative lighting products.
• Accountability and responsibility of generating lighting inquiries from projects.
• To train dealers and their sales staff to focus on promotion of concept selling rather than doing product selling
• To ensure Maximum display at dealers’ showrooms in the given space.
• To keep updated data of Senior Architect, Designer & Specifier.
• To develop strong relation with Senior Architect / Designer by personal visit, courtesy call or by one to one meeting at frequent intervals.
• Source and develop client referrals and qualified leads.
• To ensure BOQs / Mock-ups in the initial stages of the project and subsequently secure the orders.
• To maintain data in company given software of each customer handled by you at the dealers’ counter and to follow up till maturity / conversion to sales.
• Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients.

Functional Requirements:

• Relevant 8 to 10 years, min 4-5 years in Lighting in UAE (3-4 years in Projects and 1-2 years in trade).
• Technical knowledge of Lighting portfolio.
• Established contacts and references among Real Estate Developers, Architects, Interior Designers, Lighting Planner & Building Merchants.
• Ability to gather sound product knowledge.
• Ability to catch on to leads and cues from everywhere possible.
• Ability to establish & maintain a wide network of resources.
• Strongly and effective follow up ability.
• Knowledge of competitor mapping.
• Experience in coordinating at various levels and leading to effective result delivery.
