A leading Travel and Tourism Industries based in Dubai is seeking a professional and well-experienced Business Development Manager for the freight and forwarding sector. The incumbent will be responsible for P&L accountant.
Responsibilities:
- Securing new clients for the company and managing/retaining existing clients to enhance sales/profitability for the company.
- Maintaining relationships with existing clients/agents/partners/vendors/organizations and forging new relationships to enhance the business of the company.
- Getting best rates for shipping lines/transporters/overseas agents
- leading, guiding, and supporting sales/operations teams
- Setting individual targets for the team members and supporting them to ensure that they achieve the same.
- Constant monitoring of ops team to ensure timely execution of jobs.
- Monitoring sales team on daily basis.
- Regular follow-up with the client to recover the outstanding payments.
- Preparations of reports for the Management.
- Carrying out market analysis on regular basis.
- Making marketing/sales plans and business projections to achieve the targets set by the Management.
- Administrative control of the freight forwarding division.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: AED15,000.00 per month
Experience:
- Freight Forwarding and logistics: 7 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- UAE Driving license (Required)
