We are looking for GCC PAH (Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension) Medical Advisor, who will be responsible for end-to-end Franchise Medical Strategy & Planning, scientific leaders engagement, collaborative activities with local Societies/Scientific community, local Promotional & Non-promotional compliance for medical activities, materials & programs as well as therapy area Medical Training.


Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Ensure regular scientific updating for cross-functional team.
  • Provide medical input including patient journey analysis to support development of a robust marketing strategy & optimal forecasting
  • Proactively communicate the science to scientific leaders in terms of locally registered products & reactively respond to their queries.
  • Construct & execute valuable scientific educational activities to position MSD as a scientific partner to the scientific community
  • Conduct input seeking activities (ex: Advisory Boards) for proper understanding of local epidemiology & management patterns across indications, according to MSD, local & international compliance guidelines/regulations.
  • Conducts medical training to the Commercial, Access, Sales & Regulatory functions
  • Review & approve local promotional materials while ensuring adherence to MSD’s guidelines/SOPs as well as International Promotional compliance standards
  • Ensures all therapy area promotional & non promotional activities/programs in the country are executed in a compliant manner according to MSD’s regulations/codes/SOPs in adherence with Local & International compliance regulations/standards
  • Supports Clinical research activities for Global & local studies
  • Identification of appropriate local sites/investigators for clinical research programs
  • Ensures timely reporting of adverse events & assists local Pharmacovigilance team in assessment & completion of required data for optimal reporting.


Skills and experience:

  • Background as Physician or Pharmacist
  • Excellent Communication Skills & ability to engage with Scientific Leaders in a confident high level scientific rapport
  • Preferably 1-2 years’ experience in Medical Affairs department
  • Strong Scientific background & understanding of Medical Affairs
  • Arabic & English Fluency
  • Good utility of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel).
