In the Banking group, we help lending institutions make important decisions about their business, particularly when they are providing loans, managing risk, or conducting financial planning for the future of their institution. We do this with our innovative software and reliable analytics, helping them understand how to do their job better through training, learning solutions and advisory services. Role/Responsibilities
The Project Manager will take a leading role within the Dubai Implementation Services team, with a focus on managing and delivering high quality projects to Moody’s clients in the Middle East. Primary focus for a Project Manager is to manage and control scope, timeline, budget/cost, risk, customer satisfaction and communications throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Manager will also work to constantly adhere, improve and govern practices within the organization and will be expected to coordinate and help members of staff where appropriate on project management Best Practices. The Project Manager will be expected to work collaboratively with product owners, architects, engineers, vendors/partners, and line of business stakeholders to deliver technology solutions in support of Moody’s projects within ME Region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the process of prioritizing, planning, and managing projects, in their projects portfolio;
- Manage organizational team deliverables and project responsibilities;
- Lead, plan, coordinate and prioritize efforts within the projects and accurately capture and communicate project priorities;
- Client stakeholder management and building mutually beneficial relationships with the client project team and other stakeholders;
- Record and manage project issues and risks and escalate where necessary;
- Control scope and invoke and manage change management processes where necessary;
- Coordinate the work of consultants, allocate and utilize resources in an efficient manner and maintaining a co-operative, motivated and successful project team;
- Provide expertise and consulting to project managers in the process of project management and in the softer skills of team dynamics, team building, group motivation;
- Provide analysis, recommendations, collaborate with colleagues and develop content for the Implementation Services team to continuously share knowledge and improve project management methodologies, processes and documentation for both external and internal;
- Ensure adherence and provide governance guidelines set forth by the PMO Organization;
- Liaise internally with other internal functions e.g. Product Management, Research & Development, Client Services;
- Provide reporting to (a) Clients on project progress, (b) Snr internal stakeholders (EMEA and ME IS managers) and (c) Delivery team members;
- Provide appropriate services that satisfy existing or new client business needs;
- Provide support and be solution n & product proactive with clients;
- Engaging with clients both on and offsite in a professional and prompt manner;
- Support Pre-Sales activities on request from a services perspective
Qualifications
Qualifications :
- Minimum Master’s degree educated;
- 7+ years of relevant project management experience within leading financial software vendors, preferably with Middle East Clients;
- An excellent understanding of the full project lifecycle – and associated methodologies (PMP, Prince, Agile etc.) and tools (MS-Project);
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written;
- A strong client focused orientation with the drive and enthusiasm required to achieve results and assume stakeholder satisfaction;
- A strong team player with proven abilities to lead project teams
- Risk Management experience (Asset Liability Management, Basel regulation, Lending) will be highly valued
