Role/Responsibilities
This position sits under the solution specialist team within the sales organization at Moody’s Analytics. The solution specialist is a pre-sales role and will work closely with the field sales teams throughout the entire sales cycle by providing deep industry and solution expertise related to Moody’s Predictive Analytics suite of solutions. Moody’s Predictive Analytics suite of solutions empower clients to improve their bottom-line performance through fundamental risk rating analysis, risk management, data solutions, sustainability and ESG, and incorporation of credit analytics into their risk assessment systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for understanding customer needs in commercial credit risk assessment, including risk rating processes, portfolio monitoring/management and credit administration amongst others
- Preparing and conducting solution presentations, demonstrations incl. proof of concepts to clients and prospects
- Responding to client Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs)
- Collaborate with product, research, advisory, and customer success teams to align Moody’s solutions to industry trends and challenges
- Document client and industry feedbacks regarding product experience and desired enhancements
- Partner with the wider sales team to build the sales pipeline to promote Moody’s Analytics solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar field. Masters / PhD in a quantitative field would be a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in credit modelling, credit risk management, portfolio management, wholesale analytics, stress testing or in a relevant domain
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a pre-sales/consulting role in a relevant domain
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a high-pressure deadline oriented environment
- Ability to travel up to 30% post-pandemic
- Prior experience in Middle-East and/or an understanding of Arabic would be an advantage
- Knowledge of ESG trends and regulations would be a plus
