Job description

We are thus on the lookout for a colleague who can identify with Monjasa’s values and is capable of building strong relations both internally and externally.

As a Trader, you will be part of our main engine that propels the Monjasa business. Your primary role is day-to-day trading covering sales, purchase of bunker fuel and logistical planning to optimise profits; and you add value to the supply chain that facilitates global trade by seeking original solutions for our business partners. You are on a constant lookout for new business opportunities and support in solidifying our strong position in the market as both a physical supplier as well as our back-to-back trading activities.

Areas of focus

• Develop and maintain a solid and stable portfolio of customers
• Ensure optimal customer satisfaction by building strong personal relations and providing specialist advice in bunker solutions
• Investigate and develop new areas of focus
• Survey ports/regions, tracking vessel movements and coordinating fuel delivery and surveillance of the total supply chain
• Conduct market analysis and handle marketing tasks

Your professional skills

• Relevant commercial education
• Solid experience with proven results in bunker trading/shipping
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office. Experience with Microsoft NAV is a plus
• Fluent in both written and verbal English and any foreign language is a plus
