Job Description

Supports the execution of category activation marketing strategy/plan within the cluster/ market. The role links between the cluster/market and the category. The role works closely with the CP&A and Market Sales teams to deliver plans through superior consumer and customer activation

How you will contribute

You will work with others in Mondelēz International to determine an execution plan and priorities for Chocolates to enable consumer-centric brand growth. In this role, you are accountable for revenue and profit, executing plans and then monitoring performance against key performance indicators. Based on deep consumer insights, brand strategy and positioning, you will execute consumer centric plans to grow our core brands and to strengthen the entire portfolio leading to penetration and share growth.

Marketing, ideally in a matrix environment in the consumer goods industry. An ability to manage stakeholders effectively across an organisation Working effectively with other marketing disciplines and with cross-functional teams An ability to get the best from marketing agency partners Analytical and creative skills—a balance of commercial and strategic acumen Understanding consumers Communicating effectively, verbally and in writing, and executive presentation skills.

What you need to know about this position:

Chocolates is the largest category in the Gulf & NM Cluster and plays a key role in our growth strategy & Vision 2030. Gulf & NM cluster comprises of a diverse set of markets and consumers We play in the category with a mix of Global brands such as Cadbury Dairy Milk, Toblerone, Milka and Local Jewels such as Flake & Timeout.
You will report into Marketing Manager, Chocolates, Gulf & NM.

Education / Certifications:

Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent

Job specific requirements:

Minimum 4-5 years of Consumer Marketing, brand-building and/or brand activation experience Ability to manage multi-brand / multi-country Consumer centric with a digital first mindset Ability to work cross-functionally across internal & external stakeholders & Multi-functions Analytical & creativ skills – a balance of commercial & strategic acumen Effective communication (verbal & written) and strong presentation skills Strong leadership to influence core stakeholders
