Job DescriptionJob Scope: Greeting / welcoming the guests in a warm and friendly manner. Approaching the guest and starting proactive communication. Assisting and advising guests to make purchases by recommending, describing and demonstratingproducts. Efficiently handle computerized cash register that involves barcode scanners, calculators, creditcard machines. Collect and process money tendered transactions of different currencies, vouchers, stored valuecards, and credit card payments. Arranging and maintaining product displays with approval, stock shelves (refill) and take productinventory. Applying product knowledge while handling guests and improve the same on a regular basis. Working on promotions and achieving set targets. Handling basic guest complaints on the spot. Ensuring clean and safe environment. Ensuring all products displayed are properly displayed and labeled as per our brand standards. Assisting in quarterly and yearly inventory. Any other tasks that may be required from time to time to perform to meet the needs of the business. Medically able to work in all weather conditions. Physical able to carry/lift items, climb ladder etc.Essential:Higher secondary or equivalentModerate verbal communication skills Basic knowledge of cash-handling skills Good communication skillsDesirable:Previous retail experience Previous experience in handling guest complaintsAny other language would be an advantagePrevious cash-handling skills
