Job Description
- Analyse sales trends, inventory levels and customer demand to make informed recommendations for inventory levels.
- Develop and implement inventory plans that balance customer demand, sales targets and financial objectives.
- Monitor inventory levels, anticipating and preventing stock shortages.
- Work with suppliers to ensure that inventory is delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Monitor and evaluate inventory performance and make adjustments to plans as needed.
- Prepare regular inventory reports and provide insights on inventory trends and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that inventory plans align with company-wide objective
The Successful Applicant
- 4+ years of experience in inventory planning or supply planning
- Proven experience working with retail, FMCG, distributors or other similar industries
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Data driven project experience, with a strong acumen for numbers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
