An innovative marine geophysical service provider.

• Ensuring tax compliance of all indirect taxes (such as VAT and GST) and employment taxes of the Crew in the jurisdictions where PXGEO operate. This includes computations, preparation and filing of all relevant tax returns on time, as long as payments.

• Assisting the Head of Tax with the preparation and review of corporate income tax returns and all the other income tax returns.

• Completing other forms and compliance-based disclosure obligations where required.

• Maintaining the compliance monitoring database and ensuring the up-to-date status of tax compliance obligations (Tax Compliance Monitor, “TCM”).

• Assisting Head of Tax on providing TAX REVIEW for International bids and tenders: reviewing Contractual Agreements (O&G clients) and estimating the taxes due from doing business in countries of operations as per Domestic and International Tax Laws (such as double tax treaties).

• Supporting Head of Tax with current and deferred tax provisioning, monitoring tax balances in General Ledger and audit of tax accounts during FS audit.

• Communicating with accounting staff on tax accounting issues, including assisting with payments and refunds classifications, and quantifying accruals where requested.
• Evaluating tax risks and making technically appropriate recommendations to the Head of Tax support Business needs.
• Assisting Head Of Tax with preparation of tax summary memorandum when jobs are awarded.
• Keeping up to date on Tax legislation updates in the different jurisdictions PXGEO operate in.
• Assisting the Head of Tax with TP policies and documentations.
• Assisting with development and implementation of tax technologies and automation on tax compliance and reporting to help business save time, reduce risks and lower costs.
• Preparing various tax schedules and reports for internal tax reporting and from time to time, as per management’s requests.
• Responding promptly to queries from HR and employees on employment tax-related matters.
• Supporting Business (Sales/Operations Departments) and Management (CFO) daily and as needed.
• Maintaining relationships with external parties such as tax Advisors, Clients and subcontractors Tax Department’s to resolve queries and ensure high quality of deliverables.
• Liaising with Tax Authorities to resolve tax audits and tax clarifications requests.
