Reporting into the Mercer Change Team within Operations & Technology, the role holder is responsible for managing complex, broad, and/or multi-year projects end-to-end to deliver business outputs, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high level of client satisfaction.
Develops detailed, robust, high-quality deliver roadmaps and project plans including: resources, scope, schedule, cost, assumptions, dependencies, etc. for large scale, complex projects.
Engages key stakeholders to gain effective buy-in ensuring that adequate resources are made available.
Builds and maintain effective relationships with senior business partners, and third parties. Become a trusted advisor and helps facilitate timely decision making and trade-offs throughout all relevant stages.
Drives faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of, and proficiency of the changes that impact employees.
Lead ‘business readiness’ throughout the lifecycle and manage resistance management and stakeholder plans.
Acts as the first line of assurance to mitigate risk and uncertainty exposures. Ensure assumptions are validated to control the risk profile of the projects.
Works closely with, or as part of wider programmes, project workstreams, and regularly interfaces with internal management including digital and technology.
Ensures that all requirements are correctly translated into tangible outputs.
Negotiates resource requirements with responsible management when faced with conflicts in priorities.
Serves as the subject matter expert in project management, supports the business domain being served, and ensures the right project tools used.
Delegates work to and guides professional and support staff, ensuring adherence to departmental standards and procedures.
Actively engages and contributes as a member of the change management team to share lessons learnt and improve methods and standards across the organisation

We will rely on you to:
Support planning and delivery of strategic and tactical change programme/projects to ensure effective integration and operationalisation of changes into the organisation.
Provide regular reports of change management status, adoption and utilisation rates
Responsible for managing the end-to-end to delivery of complex projects, ensuring that the projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high level of client satisfaction.
Analytically review customer journeys and value streams, offer forward thinking perspectives on how proposed changes can enhance the user experience
Recommend any changes to the change management processes and tool sets
Transparent, factual visibility and communication of progress and points of escalation to key stakeholders including sponsors, workstream leaders, delivery teams and third-party suppliers, when applicable.
Develop and maintain detailed, robust, high-quality project management artefacts including resources, scope, schedule, cost, assumptions, dependencies, etc., keeping plans updated through the project lifecycle.
Understand the impact of time, cost and scope changes and make adjustment using formal change control procedures. Ensure all changes are communicated appropriately.
Manage dependencies with other initiatives and negotiate resource requirements with responsible management when faced with conflicts in priorities.
Provide proactive risk and issue management, through the validation and control of uncertainties and assumptions
What you need to have:
Solid experience of complex and major project change management gained in management consulting or equivalent sized business environments, preferably at a global scale.
Demonstrable evidence of managing / coordinating change implementation with teams across different locations, dispersed globally, including off-shoring/near-shoring teams.
Well versed in managing business and technology solutions delivery lifecycles, using multiple disciplines and methodologies.
Self-sufficient and highly motivated, with ability to deal with ambiguity and operate in a global matrix environment.
Change management credentials, e.g. leading people and clients change journey.
Strong stakeholder management and communications skills with ability and gravitas to operate and influence at Senior Management level.
