Assistant Technician Orthotist & Prosthetist

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Assists in the production, repair and maintenance of orthotic and prosthetic devices according to specifications and under guidance of the Technician and the Orthotist/Prosthetist

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Grade 12 qualification with relevant post school qualification as an advantage

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Completed apprenticeship recognised within the orthotic and prosthetic field will be an advantage
Relevant experience within a healthcare setting

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Verbal and written communication skills in English Computer Literacy (Mircosoft) Client service and related management principles Stock management processes
