McDermott Hiring for Associate E&M Specialist Job at Dubai Full Time

Job Overview:

Providing technical, commerical & project execution support to project management team and ensure that all portable equipments been maintained and kept ready for scheduled project based on Project bookings (PEIRS). To carry out refurbishment, upgradation or modification in accordance with the OEM guidelines, specifications and MDR policies and procedures as required to meet the internal clients / operational requirements.
Liasis with Vessel Management Team, Project Management, Operations Management, Subject Matter Expert, Egineering, Bids and Proposals, Procurement, Quality, HSES, CAPEX management (Upgrade & mofifications), E&M workshop personnel’s, Vessel Chief Engineer.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Follow Company Policies, Procedure and E&M guidelines.
• Ensure all subordinates and subcontractors comply with HSES policies and procedures.
• Interface with Vessel Management, Vessel Chief Engineer regarding the operation, maintenance, modification and repair of the Portable equipments.
• Prepare AFE / ACE’s for purchasing and maintenance of portable equipments.
• Review maintenance, performance of machineries and Spares requirements.
• Coordinate with various department, OEM, subcontractors and vendors to execute repairs and maintenance of equipment and machinery.
• Evaluate technical and commercial bids to choose the suitable 3rd parties to execute the projects.
• Providing technical assistance to chief engineers/project teams in selection of new equipment purchase and rental equipment for the upgrades / modification and to meet project / client specifications and requirements.
• Attend and witness Factory Acceptance Test for various rental and new purchase equipment and machineries.
• Review NS5 for Maintenance schedule, work orders, Machinery performance reports and critical spares / inventory on weekly basis.
• Provide technical inputs and equipment specification for bid and estimation purpose.
• Provide Engineering proposals to improve the performance of mechanical systems and to reduce downtime.
• Organize and perform On hire / off hire survey of charted vessels to evaluate conditions and suitability to meet project requirement
• Review / verify and provide approval for job completion on third party service invoices.
• Identify and highlight HSES , quality related deficiencies to Management.
• Identify necessary upgrades / maintenance of portable equipments and forecast the budget for following year.
• Monitor pile driving schedule and make sure readiness of equipments and availability of service engineers.
• Carry out assesment and execution of pipe laying equipment readiness.
