Petrochem Performance Chemicals LLC, part of Mazrui Energy Services is hiring a Logistics Officer to join the team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.Petrochem Performance Chemicals specializes in drilling fluids and associated equipment services.Our geographical territory covers the Middle East and Caspian with current operations in the UAE, Northern Iraq, Kuwait, and Yemen.Website :- https://ppc.ae/The ideal candidate will be a logistics expert with strong knowledge in customs clearance, Import, Export, warehouse management , inventory management and ERP system.Key Responsibilities :- Coordinate, oversee, and plan every activity that relates to inventory control.Maintain Inventory records in Oracle to properly account for issues, returns, receipts of new materials and associated back orders.Reconciliation of warehouse /Rig inventory with System inventory records on monthly and job completion time.Coordinate Interim/Annual physical counts on different PPC locations.Alongside with warehouse manager ensure the proper receipt of material, preservation & distribution of chemicals without making any loss or damage.Coordinate with customs clearing agent /freight forwarder and clear the cargo without any delay.Prepare export documentation & export booking as required by the Logistics Department.Verify the drafts import documents and confirm to suppliers /freight forwarders.Preparing and maintaining logistics plan in weekly and monthly basisFollow up with suppliers for material mobilization and update on shipping manifest.Review Freight forwarder service invoice and submit for approval.Develop reports on cargo movements and various operational logistics issues.Advice shipping details to insurance agency and insure the export/import shipments based on Inco term.Assisting for obtain government regulated approvals and documents legalization formalities.Timely submission of suppliers and freight forwarders invoice to accounts.Receive pre shipment sample and forward to Lab for QC formalities.Courier the documents to clearing agent and different PPC locations.Adhere to QHSE Policies and requirements.Adhere to PPC policies and processesMinimum Requirement:-Education – Bachelors degreeExperience – 5-7 years of experience in logistics preferably in Oil & gas industrySpecialised knowledge in ERP system (Oracle)If this sounds like you, please apply to this job.
