We are looking for someone who enjoys giving players more different ways to express themselves and rewards them for their excellent play. We want you to become a part of that journey. The challenge is to create an experience that respects the game’s core vision and is fair to the players.

The quest

You will be part of our marvelous Design team (7 members) and your mission will be to create systems that will continue to engage our players beyond the first minutes. Guiding players to grow their in-game experience and be part of our journey for a long time to come.

In practice, that means translating game mechanics into progression design and identifying and working with our artists to create new visuals for our players to enjoy. By doing this you will also create systems to monetize this enhanced player journey while keeping the experience in line with the vision for the game.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with all our departments to ensure that there is both content and technology to support the engagement design.

Perhaps you are currently working at another studio or maybe you have a strong desire to re-join the industry, either way, we want you to be a collaborative, open-minded person, passionate about gaming.

We believe that you truly enjoy collaborating with people from different crafts to understand what tools and systems are needed to create an epic gaming experience. And of course, to come up with and develop those solutions together with your delightful team.

Background/Skills:

At least 3+ years of professional experience as a Game Designer, preferably with an orientation towards Progression, Engagement, Retention, etc.

Experience and interest in-game economy, data & statistics

Comfortable in tools that help visualize a player progression (Excel, Google Sheets, or equivalent that you like to use)

Fluent in English

Bonus:

Experience creating games in the FPS genre

Knowledge of design methodologies regarding player acquisition, retention, and monetization

Understanding of player psychology
