Make an Impact as a Senior Managing Consultant, Advisors Deploy Program Management
Advisors Deploy Program Management is an execution-oriented client facing competency that applies proven, accredited change skills and domain experience to partner with clients and help them drive measurable value by:

- Successfully implementing complex technology assets and delivering the most challenging transformation programs to create the new business as usual

Deploy is a new suite of consulting solutions designed to respond to fast evolving customer needs for execution support, with a dual mission: deployment and value realization over the entire lifetime of major assets. Value realization is a complex task, and with Deploy we can de-risk the entire client/asset journey, from implementation to adoption, usage, and product evolution. This is done through a set of new capabilities focused on expert execution support, that we are bringing in to complement the traditional Advisors areas of strength.
As a Senior Managing Consultant you will work with project sponsors, delivery teams and other senior stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of a client strategy, ensure clients and project teams remain focused on the realization of the expected benefits through identification, management, realization, and measurement. You will establish governance structures, delivery plans and budgets for the program as well as provide leadership to Project Managers and share best practices.
Additionally to the responsibilities in managing client project delivery work, the Cluster Manager Advisors Program Management (APM) MENA will also
- Help build the new APM team and hire contractors for project delivery in the cluster
- Liaise with business development and support functions such as staffing and sourcing to identify and deploy the right resources (internal and external) for upcoming opportunities/projects and grow deploy revenues
- Support the Regional APM lead in strategic and operational aspects such as overall capacity planning and revenue/cost alignment, alignment with senior stakeholders within D&S and across other business units
- Partner with Global Product Management to ensure achieving set objectives and identify new opportunities for the team and company to grow
- Provide PEM support for all Deploy projects in respective cluster working in partnership with BD, country teams on funding, scoping
- Support Regional APM lead in establishing and maintaining governance and management of the team
- Maintain close engagement with clients in cluster to enable effective projects delivery and feedback, debottleneck issues and enhance the customer experience
- Work with Regional lead to simplify end to end deploy process and build efficiencies
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the team
All About You
- Experience in delivery of high value strategic, enterprise and or market level initiatives across the financial services sector, including examples of adapting program scope / deliverables to increase or maintain program value
- Able to evidence extensive practical knowledge of the successful delivery of strategic roadmap, PMO, business testing, service improvement and transformational change methods, frameworks, tools and processes
- Formal accreditation in one or more recognized PM/PMO/ Change/Service management methodologies is desired
- Leverages deep knowledge of all the Mastercard Data & Services capabilities and how they fit together to create customized & relevant solutions for clients
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and experience of building effective internal and external relationships with proven ability to work with both business and technology stakeholder; strong writer, presenter and speaker, comfortable and effective in C-level meetings. Credible & persuasive able to deliver difficult messages with sensitivity
- Enthusiastic and authentic leader with the ability to inspire others and create a collaborative culture of teamwork, accountability, open communication and organizational effectiveness
All About Your Education & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification. Advanced degree or MBA preferred
- Professional accreditation such as Project Management Professional (PMP) desirable
- Fluent local office language and English required, other languages desirable
- Exposure specifically in payments and / or retail banking or merchants preferred
- Comfortable with significant client interaction and interest in building relationships
- Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills required, knowledge of Project Management tools preferred
- Willingness to travel
