Overview
- Remote product design, development, and portfolio management for South Africa&SSA divisions
- Develop end-to-end and launch market relevant products with key focus on process, consumer experience, pricing, go-to-market, sales enablement
- Deliver vs. GDV, revenue objectives for Consumer Products – Credit&Debit
- Grow market share and identify incremental business opportunities
Description of the role
- Identify support required from the central team on product design, marketing/sales collateral development, sales enablement
- Liaise with SSA&SA team to define product gaps and identify target customers according to their fit into product strategy
- Closely work with marketing and country team in order to tailor marketing and communication plans in accordance with product development strategy
- Work with credit and debit regional leads to address divisional requirements; ensure product integrity adherence
- Together with South Africa, Kenya cluster, Nigeria Cluster product leads to identify target customers according to their fit into product strategy
- Have a responsibility for preparing and sharing market MIS – data/insights/performance
- Analyse portfolio in the respective division to identify growth opportunities
- Closely work with marketing team on product marketing and communication
- Support portfolio optimization efforts with local customers
- Drive execution of PME framework and principles to demonstrate end-to-end thinking and an understanding of consumer needs and customer/consumer experience
- Optimize the global/ regional operating model and further strengthen PME discipline – Product Development and Product Management – within the cluster
