This role will be managing all Customer Care & Logistics activities for Gulf Co Traditional Trade distributer in the UAE

What are we looking for?

  Education & Professional Qualification
  

• A Customer care & Logistics professional with an Engineering or economics degree or Masters in a relevant field such as supply chain management, planning or business management
• Certification in APICS, IT or other supply chain specific programs also preferred
  Knowledge/Experience
• Strong technical and functional skills (5+ years in supply chain – supply planning experience required)
• SAP (ATLAS) expertise is required
• Fluent English Language Skills (verbal and written)
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office (Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Problem solving capabilities
• Team player

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Collaborate with Market Planning, Demand & Market Head to maintain markets product availability and provide required visibility to support sales delivery on weekly basis.
• Manage a 3 period availability outlook (3PO) process between the supply, demand and sales.
• Handle system transactions on SAP: distributor’s orders creation (PI creation), debit & credit notes booking.
• Support the order to cash cycle ensuring timely availability of all required documents and following on payment process with the distributor.
• Ensure the required clearing documents are issued on time following the regulations of both source & destination regulations.
• Weekly reporting/update on GIT Status.
• Reconcile GIT and distributor stocks system stocks on periodic basis
• Support the distributors to ensure timely and smooth clearing process
• Co-ordinate with the distributor to manage the inbound & outbound processes ensuring accurate stock booking, blocking expiries, periodic stock system reconciliation, following FEFO.
• Co-ordinate with distributor’s physical stock counts & expiries destructions if applicable.
• Provide shipments status update to sales managers, demand planners and distributors on weekly basis & manage customers inquiries & requests coordinating with other functions when needed
• Ensure age on dispatch to distributor is as per the agreed age profile.
• Establish & maintain SLAs /ways of working with distributors.
• Maintain the distributor data in the related systems (Atlas) & implement any change required.

• 
  Replenishment & Deployment Planning

• Manage all activities required to deploy stocks from Mars facilities to the distributors on SAP with collaboration between Demand, Market planning & Supply

• 
  Inventory/Freshness Management

• Proactive age management process implementation and ownership.

• Manage and coordinate age on dispatch to distributors to maintain healthy inventory

  
  Managing activities / promotions:

• Full accountability of supply chain input in all activities and promotions
• Working closely with activity champion and demand to finalize the supply plan.
• Ensure on time supply and early alerts to business in case of supply gaps to work mitigation plans ahead of time.

• 
  Improve Distributors capabilities
  

• Work closely with the distributors’ supply chain teams in order to improve their logistics capabilities implementing the agreed/aligned collaborative work-streams (eg right KPIs in place, lead time for distribution, etc)
• Collaborate with the key trade customers when required to implement continuous improvements projects.
• Own and lead the SPM agenda to step-change our service to trade by working closely with Distributor to improve their Case-fill to trade.

• 
  Provide cross-functional collaboration

• Work closely with the finance teams to ensure proper period closing process is followed.
• Work closely with sales team to establish work-streams with our trade customers to focus on improvement on customer service through the rights levels of collaborations.
• Work closely with R&D in case of any in market recall or trace required.
• Work closely with activity management and demand planning teams.
• Act as the Supply spoke for the IDBU markets in the all ATGs and cascading the required actions

• 
  Continuous improvement:

• Represent and own Market planning deliverables for key business projects and supply developments projects for relevant markets.
