On Site Alignment offers high-end mechanical services with a strong focus on alignment. They are specialized in alignment, engineering, machining, mounting and troubleshooting of all rotating equipment on board of ships including engines, gearboxes, generators, shaft bearings and bow thrusters.

On behalf of On Site Alignment, MARPRO is looking for a Marine Engineers for their office in Dubai, UAE.

Your Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, aligning and installing all manner of rotating equipment
• Vibration data acquisition and analysis
• FEM modelling of the shaft line
• Strain gauge measurements
• Shaft line calculations
• Getting your hand dirty and working onboard vessels as well
• Liaising with customers on site
• Working in your region (UAE) as well as other countries in the Middle East
• Preparing and submitting service reports to the customer afterwards

Skills and experience

• Preferably a degree in engineering, Marine or Mechanical but experience without a degree is also welcome. We are also open for trainees.
• At least 2 years working experience in a related field
• Eager to learn and research
• You are a communicator, flexible and accurate
• Team player as well as independent worker
• Knowledge of alignment, machinery vibration and analysis will be an advantage
