Our client a start-up fintech/family office based in Dubai, UAE are seeking an experienced full stack developer to help them in the journey creating technological tools and software to support a wide range of our operations from algorithmic trading, risk management, investment research & assist in the development and maintenance of their ERPs and other internal software.

Your Responsibilities

• Create and expand our in-house tools and help drive the development and architecture of our internal & client facing applications
• Design software solutions for the systematic automation of True Beacon operations
• Liaise with internal teams to organize information and requirements
• Architect software to collect, analyze and visualize large amounts of data
• Identify opportunities to use technology to solve infrastructure management challenges
• Analyze and integrate technical requirements into architecture decisions
• Maintain integrity of development practices, code quality, and consistency
• Document software specifications and architectural decisions
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Work alongside developers, designers, and system administrators to identify new features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials, preferably in Computer Science or relevant field
• Three to four years of proven work experience as a full stack developer
• Expert knowledge of at least one of the following backend languages: Python,
• Node.js, Go, Java
• Expert knowledge of at least one of the following frontend frameworks: Vue.js or React.js
• Experience architecting large software systems in production environments
• Good understanding of git, including development workflows on Gitlab or
• Github
• Extensive experience working with relational databases and handling large datasets
• Experience with HTTP servers, caching and building web services
• Thorough understanding of Linux fundamentals
• Previous exposure to systems and/or network automation, monitoring and alerting.
• Knowledge of message queuing or distributed messaging frameworks.
• Extensive Experience in cloud computing in GCP or AWS
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines to improve developer productivity.
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
