The Finance Associate Manager role is responsible for sound financial accounting and reporting, monitoring the financial health of Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle business. The role manages and oversees the daily operations of the Finance department, including but not limited to, accounting, reporting, financial controls, risk review, compliance, external audit and the effective management of month-end finance responsibilities.

Validate all financial activities related to month-end closing for the operating regions of Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle, overseeing accurate and timely completion.
Accountable for ensuring all Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activities are completed and reconciled in a timely manner.
Provide appropriate support to the FSSC function, ensuring statutory standalone financials are prepared and issued within the defined timeframes.
Oversee supplier payments and staff reimbursements in a timely manner.
Responsible for External Audit, supporting with necessary information on business performance and responses to observed variations.
Manage day-to-day requirements of the strategic Joint Venture Partners, in relation to inter-Company billing and payments, treasury and banking needs.
Support the Finance Manager in the implementation of one ERP project.
Responsible for budget reconciliation with actuals for overall MAF Lifestyle business.
Track business performance, highlighting issues and areas of concern, making recommendations for improvement where necessary.
Prepare and review insurance declarations for Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle entities and liaise with Group Risk and Compliance on annual renewals.
Ensure compliance with statutory, legal, taxation and internal control requirements, including regulatory compliance for business in new territories.
Be an integral part of the risk management and fraud prevention directive, advising on financial implications where relevant.
Review and strengthen loss and fraud prevention controls within the business.
Oversee all finance related operational risk assessment and process improvements, considering any ERP amendments, streamlining end-to-end processes.
Contribute and support the business in achieving the Dare Today, Change Tomorrow sustainability strategy.
Establish and maintain professional business relationships with external auditors, legal consultants, suppliers, customers, and senior management within the business to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
Key provider of technical support on financial accounting matters to the key stakeholders and internal customers within the business.
Support in promoting sustainability initiatives to transform the lives of the community and contribute to the net positive impact, and health and wellness.
