The Region SWAT Manager – Contract Logistics is responsible for translating business requirements into new features in the Maersk Warehouse and Distribution, Transportation and/or Transload systems. The SWAT Manager – Contract Logistics is expected to play a key role in WnD implementation projects across West Central Asia(WCA).
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and communicate customer business requirements for complex WnD projects in WCA
- Lead and drive process design and execution of top priority WnD projects signed off by REG L&S Head
- Drive standardization and system processes changes in the region
- Jointly define and own our E2E business processes with operations team
- Support the development of improvements by leveraging system functionality
- Ensure the operational platform remains up-to-date based on required improvements
- Assess business and customer needs to determine system requirements
- Prioritize, plan, test, and implement new system release and developments
- Support the business during go-live events for new business and/or systems, including hypercare support
- Provide system training and user support to facilities globally
- Ensure processes are properly documented, stored and shared to business unit through the creation of SOPs/IOPs
- Responsible for process governance and adherence to defined standard operating processes
- Develop next generation of SWAT specialists in WCA Region
