The opportunity
We are hiring an ambitious forward-thinking finance assistant to join our established and growing team in Dubai.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing monthly client management packs for various clients for presentation to the portfolio director.
- Assisting in the production of monthly departmental management accounts/financial review packs for Mace Operate for presentation at monthly departmental financial reviews with department heads and Portfolio Directors.
- Assisting in reconciling balance sheet accounts monthly.
- Producing reports detailing P&L movement, forecast analysis and project look ahead.
- Preparing yearly budget.
- Validating client invoices in accordance with client agreed processes and procedures.
- Monitoring payment process ensuring payment runs are raised as per requirements and approvals.
- Approving POs raised and ensure they are coded to correct nominal codes.
- Assisting in the production of monthly and yearly management and statutory accounts in accordance with Mace Group financial deadlines.
- Liaising with Mace Group head office finance teams where necessary.
- Maintaining good working relationships with all clients, suppliers, corporate accounts team and the management team ensuring as a minimum a satisfactorily level of service is always provided.
- Providing ad-hoc reports as required.
- Attending regular finance meetings.
- Providing further support as and when required.
About you
You have a degree in accounting, finance, business administration or equivalent. You are currently studying or seeking to study recognised accounting qualification (i.e., CMA/CIMA/ACCA/AAT, etc.) or equivalent. You are digitally savvy, proactive, can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated teams.
