The opportunity

We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking senior project manager to join our established and growing team in UAE.

The role is required for a major masterplan development in Dubai.

The role is fully responsible for leading and managing a project, or part thereof. You will provide advice to the client in planning the project, including design, procurement, project controls and delivery. You will manage relationships with the client and other project stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and being accountable for the project.

• Managing your team in a professional, inclusive and caring manner.

• Establishing the project execution plan, directing and supervising the relevant project team/parties to achieve these objections.

• Managing matters in relation to health, safety and wellbeing on the project at all stages.

• Managing the planning and monitoring of the progress of your project.

• Preparing necessary project plans and keeping them updated and relevant over the course of the project.

• Ensuring project budgets are managed.

• Ensuring quality systems are in place and suitably managed and monitored.

• Supervising relevant meetings and site walks and ensuring these are suitably recorded.

• Being actively involved in risk management.

• Communicating with all project parties’/stakeholders and ensuring suitable records are maintained.

• Working collaboratively and always in an inclusive manner.

With a relevant degree qualification, you will take personal development seriously and be chartered or pursuing a similar level of professional qualification.

You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. You will have a construction or cost consultancy or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
