Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Junior Press Officer to join our team. You will be responsible for handling press duties and managing relationships with media outlets and journalists. You must be a confident communicator and have excellent interpersonal skills to promote our brand and products in the market.

Primary Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement press strategies to increase brand visibility and awareness.

– Create press releases, blogs, and newsletters to engage with the media and stakeholders.

– Plan and execute media events, such as product launches and press conferences.

– Identify and manage media partnerships to improve our PR presence.

– Monitor media coverage and report on media activity to senior management.

– Cultivate strong relationships with journalists, bloggers, and social influencers.

– Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand messages are consistent across all platforms.

– Support the team with ad hoc projects as required.

Requirements:

– A degree in journalism, public relations, marketing, or a related field.

– At least one year of experience in a press or media role.

– Strong written and verbal communication skills.

– Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

– The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

– Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

– A passion for children’s products, fashion, and trends.
