BASIC INFORMATION
Position Title
Marketing Coordinator
POSITION OBJECTIVE
The job holder will be responsible for assisting the Marketing manager with the execution of marketing activities in line with the Concept guidelines. The job holder will be expected to coordinate all activities pertaining to marketing, branding, e-marketing initiatives, Public Relations, Media Relations and any other customer facing activities.
DO — Key Responsibilities
1.
Planning & Budgeting
Support in maintaining budget controls on the assigned marketing budget
Conduct monthly/quarterly budget vs spent reviews to ensure the budget is being spent and allocated effectively
Assist the Marketing Manager in planning the Marketing Calendar including updating and circulating amongst all territories Marketing teams
Assist in implementing e-marketing initiaves anad managing media and public relations for thet Brand(s)

In- store Activations
Liaising with territory offices to ensure implementation of marketing collaterals and requisite permissions across stores.
Post campaign analysis and reports of effectiveness gauged by increased sales/footfalls to stores.
Competition analysis in terms of best practices adopted.
Recommendations as to new technologies to be adopted in-stores.
Monthly store visits to review need for marketing collaterals/implementation in stores.

Public Relations & Media Relations Co-ordination
Following up with media for scheduling interviews for the CEO and key Concept personnel
Identify opportunities in the media and place articles and stories
Contribute to the production of the Concept’s magazine and other marketing material (if applicable)
Coordinate cross promotions, tie-ups, brand events for store launches, customer evenings and fashion shows (if applicable)
Coordinate with the agency on the image campaign for the season
Coordinate with the graphic team for the artworks as required
Coordinate all corporate / brand events including brand launch , seasonal launches etc
Coordinate all direct mailing activities
Assist in maintaining strong professional relationships with news media in television, radio, and newspapers
Develop and maintain an online press office

Market Research
Partner with Corporate Marketing for periodic market research to study the customer profile / preferences and buying patterns
Partner with Corporate Marketing for periodic market research to study the effectiveness of the media campaign by evaluating the return on investment from the campaign
5.
Interactive, Digital & E-Marketing Execution
Manage search marketing campaign performance including campaign structure, keyword selection and copy testing
Develop, update and distribute the interactive analytical marketing report that includes search marketing, display advertising and affiliate marketing with recommendations for optimization
Partner with the content development team to optimize the site design for search engine effectiveness
Build relationships with key bloggers in order to be able to increase brand / product / campaign coverage
Build and maintain relationships in a network of web affiliates
Create promotions and communications via email, message boards, and other sources to recruit and/or
retain affiliates
Update and innovate the website content as and when required.
6.
Other Marketing Activities
Coordinate with Public Relations agencies for PR and media coverage in consultation with Head – Corporate communication & PR
Help manage the loyalty program/privilege clubs at the Concept and recommend strategies to ensure increase in the perception level of the program
