Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop and crate new Business opportunities/Leads
• create customer strategies
• Execute and prepare customer meetings
• Work with overseas network to provide Sales Leads
• Preparing quotations
• Working with Agents, carrier, co-loader to procure and negotiate rates.
• Report all activities in CRM (SalesForce)
• Build up a Sales-team underneath

Job Requirements:

The candidate must have:

• 5-7 years’ experience in Business development with a freight forwarder
• Experience with Chemicals account is a plus
• Problem solver
• excellent knowledge about common software/application such as SalesForce etc.
• Strong procurement/negotiation skills
• Be able to work independently, multi-task, be a team player and work in a fast-paced environment
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
