Total Exp – 15 + years. Out of which 4-5 years current exp must be in Oracle Fusion Finance.

JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible to manage company portfolio of business applications and the team.

Description

§ Manage applications team and Contributes to building a positive team spirit

§ Consults with respect to the functionality /practices of the application.

§ Fits the Business need to business apps modules by studying the client organization, its business needs, its capabilities, its processes and other relevant factors to be taken into consideration for purposes of the project and/or its implementation

§ Defines the and obtains the agreement of the users on the same.

§ Conducts correct estimation / scoping of the project consulting / implementation activity where required. Quantifies effort estimate in man days.

§ Develops functional and technical documentation and ensures timely reviews and sign-off of all deliverables.

§ Ensures that deliverable documents are to the required standard and cover all aspects of the implementation

§ Draws up impact analysis scenarios and illustrates cascading effects of solution gaps and delivery slippages

§ Adapts old processes or redesigns new processes.

§ Performs and/or ensures customization of applications to suit newly designed / re-engineered business processes

§ Implements, manages, maintains and enhances existing business processes in line with industry best practices in order improve the overall efficiency of back office and operations staff.

§ Pursues and ensures productivity enhancements in the entire applications in use.

§ Monitors progress of the project within target dates and sends early warning signals of any anticipated project slippages / timely alerts if there are any projects handled by Third-party.

§ Ensures Knowledge transfer and development of the Implementation team Members and ensures Business users are thoroughly and adequately empowered to achieve greater efficiency in carrying out business transactions effectively and using the system efficiently.

§ Keeps abreast with technology advances and implements them as required by the Business users.

§ Undertakes user training as and when required

§ Plans, obtains approvals, develops and implements custom extensions (Custom reports, Forms, Applications, Workflows, Alerts, User Hooks, Fast Formulas, Packages and Functions) in line with the Business requirements.

§ Documents all system issues, resolution plans, Functional specifications, Technical specifications and deployment documents to ensure continued support and maintenance and business continuity.

§ Interacts with vendors teams, raises service requests, provides requested troubleshooting information in order to fix any OEM Software level bugs and deploys suggested workaround and/or patches as guided by Oracle.

§ Maintains a list of all custom objects and all supporting documentation.

§ Prepares role-based user manuals for any existing, new or improved business processes and delivers User training in line with Business requirements.

Education/Qualifications

• Bachelors / PG Diploma/ PG Degree is a must.
• Relevant professional certification is a must.
• Master’s degree in management information systems or Business is a plus

Skills/ Competencies/ Experience

• Minimum 12 – 15 years relevant experience with 5 years Managerial Experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years team leading experience in an Oracle Fusion environment
• Analytical and Problem-Solving skills and numerical ability.
• Interpersonal Skills, Delegation Skills and people management skills.
• Drive for results, dealing with ambiguity and ethics and integrity.
• Decision Making Skills, Negotiation skills and Ownership and Accountability.
• Advanced communication skills in English (Oral and Written) and knowledge in other languages will be an advantage.
