Job Summary
The position supports the learning and development of colleagues through the delivery of trainings as well as promotes colleague engagement through active participation in colleague activities
Deliver Learning and Development Programs to Colleagues
Prepare training requirements
Deliver brand training programs and property-specific modules to colleagues
Assist in training needs analysis and development of property-specific programs
Coordinate with leaders and department trainers to record departmental training activities and assist in their training requirements
Liaise with external training providers
Ensure upkeep of training room and proper ordering and inventory of training supplies
Maintain accurate training records and reports
Supervise the Internship Program
Oversee Hotel Internship Program
Build strong partnerships with schools
Recruit, orient, and train all trainees who can be potential colleagues
Maintain accurate records of interns (including MOAs, medical records, job task checklist, evaluations)
Qualifications
Knowledge and Experience
Degree in communications, hospitality or related field
Previous training experience preferably in the hotel industry
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint, other MS applications, and video-creation software

Excellent presentation and training skills
Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of colleagues
Very good communication skills in English both spoken and written
Very good organizational skills and has attention to details
