Secondary Teacher of PE with experience in teaching A-Level PE

Kings’ School Al Barsha is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, and enthusiastic PE teacher with experience in teaching A-Level PE to join an outstanding department in August 2023.

Our PE department is superbly resourced, with extensive facilities that support a wide range of sports and extra-curricular activities. Sport is a major part of student life at Kings’ and the successful candidate will be expected to devote time both before and after school, as well as the occasional weekend, to running clubs and competitive teams.

Requirements:

• Holds a bachelor’s degree with Physical Education or related subject
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• At least two years’ experience teaching A-Level PE
• Able to teach consistently inspirational lessons and a track record/ability to deliver results
• A commitment to the wellbeing and pastoral care of all students within their care
• Able and willing to make a broader contribution to school life, support school programmes of health, fitness and hygiene education
• Ability to deliver high quality innovative and exciting lessons in the spirit of the vision for learning set out by the school
• Innovative, creative, enthusiastic and able to deliver results
• Experience of working overseas or with international students would be an advantage.
