About the jobQualifications & Skills:Degree or diploma or professional certificate.Experience:4-6 years for civil and MEP Project supervision and coordination.Job Purpose:To monitor, track, and close out projects in various places, QC of contractors and manage the existing subcontractors. To establish and maintain Project management, engineering methodologies, systems, and practices that meet customer, quality, and regulatory requirements. Responsible for providing engineering support for the planning and execution of Projects and Fit out-related projects including quality improvement programs, cost reduction programs, procurement, and qualification of facility systems/ equipment. Responsibilities:• Must be presentable and confident able to communicate and handle contractors and clients• Handle all internal and external written communications for the contractors and other internal department, ensure follow-up and dispatch of the same.• Must be able to independently prepare technical reports, feasibility reports, MEP information sheets, inspection reports, daily inspection reports, weekly progress reports, monthly progress reports, weekly and monthly inspection schedules, etc.• On-site Technical induction for all the contractors undertaking project works in The Communities contracted to Tafawuq.• Preparation of Photographic reports at each stage of the project until completion of a Project and issuance of snag-list. • Knowledge of AutoCAD and knowledge of reading and editing Architectural and MEP drawings.• Good Knowledge of Health and Safety, reviewing Technical Method statements and risk assessments, and stopping works in case of any non-compliance• Full knowledge of Local Authority Technical requirements and international standards for Fit out.• Knowledge of establishing the Filing process and managing Document controlling for all Project management issues Faced on-site.• Ensure that the day-to-day inspection is aligned with the approved quality process and procedures. • Implement an accurate database and filing system to maintain records of correspondences, documents, and reports.• Preparing Weekly and monthly reports.• Checking 75-100 emails and replying to at least 50 emails per day• Inspection and control of all aspects of Client projects from documents, reporting drawings, Email correspondence, and Authority compliance• Drafting and sending Official letters to Clients and Contractors such as warnings letters, non-compliance letters, undertaking letters• Tracking, Managing & and completing all Projects and coordination with other departments within the company to ensure that the requirements all departments are complied with.• Filling up internal forms to Issue permits prior to commencement of work and completion certificate after completion of works.• Ensuring that all the documents as recorded as hard copies and soft copies. The same must be easily accessible at all times.• Completion certificate is issued on time.
